Middletome
A Presbyterian Internet Magazine

April 2012
As some of you will be aware we are currently privileged to have the Rev. K. M. Watkins preaching in Barnoldswick. He is over from Kenya for the Synod and we should have him preaching for a number of weeks. I hope to be able to upload MP3s of most of these sermons in the June update to the website.
On the Itunes U website there are a whole array of lectures (including those in the bottom right) - I have found Trueman’s lectures on Owen interesting. He mentioned in a recent lecture the dress adopted by Owen and his opposition to distinctive ministerial dress. If our argument as Presbyterians is sobriety in dress then this surely applies to members not just ministers (and not just on a Sabbath).
